We as an American society have totally reversed our thinking and now demonize those who work hard and become successful. We want to punish those who earn a lot and redistribute the wealth to those who don’t. Barack Obama promises to tax those who make more than 0000 very heavily because they are “too wealthy.” Who is the government to decide this? Nationally syndicated radio talk show host and Fox Business Network TV’s Dave Ramsey weighs in hard. www.daveramsey.com Read the full …

He has to fill 4 hours a day of radio, do you have any idea how hard that is? He cant just sit there and go, “Uh, everythings fine,” and be silent all day.

I would not like to be dave ramsey, even if he is rich. I mean i like listening to the guy, but something is always up his ass.

“I am not a republican or democrat, I am an independent.”
I too am registered Independent. However, everything you’ve typed in your comments previous were points regurgitated by so-called “conservatives” ad nauseum. I vote Dem because they are the lesser of 2 evils, not because they aren’t evil. I have issues with Obama already, but not for reasons that you probably do. Most conservatives are anything BUT truly conservative in outlook. They are garden-variety nutcase RADICAL NATIONALISTS.

the word republican was not typed once… you can continue to vote democrat if you like and they will tell you that they are giving tax cuts to the lower middle class and ending the war in Iraq if that will make you feel better.
I am not a republican or democrat, I am an independent.

Thank you. I know what I have on my channel description.
Here is what you have on your channel description:
Nothing. So, I suppose you have no interests or life.
As to the substance of your comment “Death tax … social security tax … too DUMB to invest for my retirement … losing BILLIONS in Iraq … “refunds” to tax”payers” who don’t pay”
If you want a dysfunctional government, vote Republican. They’ll call it “less governnment”, however, and make you feel good.

THIS IS PASTED DIRECTLY FROM YOUR CHANNEL DESCRIPTION:
This channel is devoted to the dissemination of videos on topics related to the science of geomorphology (the study of landforms) and the processes that produce them.
And you reply to my comment with “yawn”
December 19th, 2009 at 1:39 am
yawn
December 19th, 2009 at 1:39 am
there are only 500 characters allowed in a comment, so… I won’t be able to expound on everything they do… Let’s see, I can’t deduct student loan interest because I make too much money, which I wouldn’t make in the first place if I didn’t have those student loans… sound dumb? Death tax, taking my money away from me and calling it “social security tax”, because I am too DUMB to invest for my own retirement, losing BILLIONS of tax dollars in Iraq, giving “refunds” to tax”payers” who don’t pay

Poor is a state of mind, not a socioeconomic condition. Broke is temporary, poor is eternal.

What have they done to you?

The best thing for government to do for me is to leave me alone!!!

Steve Forbes was right all those years ago when he advocated for a flat tax. It’s the fairest way to tax. Every pays an equal portion of that which they have earned. Millionaires still pay millions and those who are poor pay only a small amount. Dave Ramsey is spot on!

when i grossed $250 a week i took home $192….years later and alot of hours more and when i make $1,580 i take home $950….when i worked alot less i took home about 78% , when i worked alot harder and more i only took home about 60%…..thats our reward for working harder and trying to improve our situation in life , the govt. just takes a higher percentage of our salary….as if 78% of $1,580 wasnt alot more than 78% of $250 to begin with!!!

I am poor. But I do not believe in the transfer of wealth. Just like Dave says, we need to work harder not expect others to do it for us.
December 19th, 2009 at 1:39 am
*i dont know what
December 19th, 2009 at 1:39 am
i dont what god has to do with taxes.

I’m doing his plan right now and it really has set our money on track. I now am able to watch our dollars MUCH more closely than previously. His plan is awesome. I don’t agree with all the religion stuff, because I’m atheist, but his plan is spot on for money management.
December 19th, 2009 at 1:39 am
No thanks. You help you, and I will help me. If I want to give you money, I’ll give it to you, but I don’t want you to take it from me.

We need to cut the budget by 35%, below total tax current revenue. If we did that we could free the American slave from the tyrannical State. This would free up a tremendous amount of money, for the newly freed slaves, to give, in their own community’s, and help those whom may still be in need after being freed.

wealthy in this country. If they want to keep making money (because the economy is stimulated by consumer, or middle class, spending) they need to put spare money back into the economy. It’s simple…the “trickle down effect” simply does not work; which is way we’ve seen an increased gap in the salary difference between the middle class vs the wealthy. The wealthiest 5% continue to get wealthier (largely by avoiding taxes via loopholes in the tax code), while inflation eats up the middle class.
December 19th, 2009 at 1:39 am
The only other alternative is a tax increase on the American people. If taxes are raised across the board, then you have people who are already struggling hit rock bottom. Trust me, even a million dollar tax increase to a billionaire is nothing compared to $1000 tax increase to a family earning $30,000 a year. The way I look at it is that those who are wealthy have benefited extensively from those have purchased their products…etc; and the wealthy need the middle class in order to remain
