I used this stuff once, caught ONE catfish, one tiny catfish. Now all i do is take a live nightcrawler, hook it once on the hook, so that it is dangling, then without any bobber or weight throw it out where you think there are catfish. Let the line spool out and when you get a bite give it a second.
Never see stinkbait in stores? Its at all of the Walmarts around here and at quite a few gas stations. Works great for Channel catfish, not much other catfish will eat it. Actually, one time I was pulling in my catfish tube to rebait and I caught a small northern.
But yeah channel cats max this stuff in the lakes around here. You’ll mostly catch the smaller ones probably but i’ve caught some pretty large channels on it.
where can you buy skipjack herring is it sold under another name or something in the bait shops in the Atlanta area I can’t find them. Do they sale them like minnows?
I’ve used that same exact stinkbait before along with the worm….it doesnt work AT ALL!! i’ve had luck with tons of other things. This was a waste of time and money
